adopted a pedantic tone. “The hippogriff was half horse, half eagle.
And the centaur combined the upper body of a man with the legs
and torso of a horse.”
The sawhorse was not to be outdone. “I suppose you are aware of
Pegasus, an entire functioning horse with wings. No parts of the
horse are left out.”
