Among the flavors of grief,
                         Is bitter, salt or sour chief?
                         Added up they still can’t meet

                         The power of missing sweet.

                             So many ways to live,
                             So few to die at first;

                             Maturity will give
                             The ratio reversed.

                             Death is a big whole

                   Try to grasp that thing you’re facing:

                    You can’t get your arms around it;
                    Your try to be all-embracing

                    Came up short—you haven’t bound it.
