Concerto de Space Junk

Shattered the music of the spheres
Rains heavy metal on our ears.

Wondered the sage perched on a ledge

With a sandwich at water’s edge:

Does it matter if I’ve eaten,

When the waves tell us we’re beaten?

                              Two-way ticket

                          Animals knew not,
                          Walking up the plank,
                          Men who each two caught
                          Were the ones to thank.

                          Nor do they today,
                          Walking it faster
                          The other way
                          Down to disaster.
