        P. 52
He was too young to understand, but when he grew up, he went
searching for his roots and found his biological father. When he found
him, my story about his father was confirmed. He also found other
brothers and sisters—some younger, some older than himself. Now he
has become a handsome young man with a family of his own.

          I am never alone.
I made sure not to mention too many names. But my baby girl, who
was burnt on her hand with the hot spoon, has now become a beautiful
young woman. The Lord has blessed me with one wonderful son-in-
law. I believe that after he was made, they broke the mold. There is not
another one like him. I truly thank GOD for him.
My story was just a lonely, lost, unfortunate young girl in a big city
with no family—neither in Jamaica nor in Canada. My half-brothers
