THE PROSPEROUS WAY

                                  A GENEROUS HEART

It is simply impossible to overstate the importance of giving. Prosperity
that is from God simply does not come unless we are prepared to
channel our prosperity to others: Because God does not bless us in
order for us to hoard our wealth. He wants us to see ourselves as a
pipeline of wealth, not a reservoir. God intends that we will be a conduit
through which He can bless others. He wants us to give to others from
our “overflow.” Remember, when our hands are tightly closed to others,
they are also closed to receiving God’s blessing.

 A stingy man is eager to get rich and is unaware that poverty
                 awaits him. (Proverbs 28:22)

 One man gives freely, yet gains even more. Another withholds
unduly but comes to poverty. (Proverbs 11:24)

 He who gives to the poor will lack nothing. (Proverbs 28:25)

 He who gives to the poor lends to the Lord, and He will reward
him for what he has done. (Proverbs 19:17)

 A generous man will prosper, he who refreshes will himself be
                 refreshed. (Proverbs 11:25)

 Do not be hard hearted or tight fisted toward your poor
brother… Give generously to him and do so without a grudging
heart , then because of this the Lord your God will bless you in all
your work and in everything you put your hand to.
                 (Deuteronomy 13:7&10)

“Give and it will be given unto you, a good measure, pressed
down, shaken together, and running over,
will men pour into your lap. For with the measure you use,
it will be measured to you.”
                                     (Luke 6:38)
