Epilogue

Two musicians with no steady job or financial security. No
benefits. No pension or dental plan or retirement package. But
we have followed our hearts and over many years we have made
a lot of beautiful music together. And along with raising our
son, that music has been the joy of our lives.
We’ve both had to recreate ourselves a few times, but Gord
has always been a rock-solid provider no matter what obstacles
have come our way. At every roadblock, raging river or high
hurdle, we continue to lean into one another and hold each
            other up. We’re good teammates.
I feel so blessed to have such a strong partner at my side,
sharing this twilight leg of our journey. I envision us growing
old together, with old-folk-habits creeping in, annoying us
and making us laugh! We can still crack each other up, we
love sharing a healthy lifestyle, keeping active and hanging out
with good friends. We are still adventurous and enjoy taking
chances. We share our faith in God and are grateful every day
            for our many blessings.
Life is good with Gord. I have every faith that our love is
            here to stay.

And then there is me: After I left my country music career, I
pursued my calling within the Christian music community. For
twenty-five years I have shared my personal story interwoven
with music and comedy. I have sung everywhere from soup
kitchens and prisons to state-of-the-art theatres and arenas.
I’ve travelled to many parts of the world and have been heard
and seen by thousands across the airwaves of radio, television
and the internet. I have partnered with some of the largest
Christian-based organizations like World Vision, Salvation
            Army and Power to Change.
I did pursue a record deal with Christian labels in Nashville
