RECLAIM YOUR DIGITAL GOLD

The Public Domain: The proliferation of mobile devices
has created convenience by allowing shoppers to find
exactly what they want and how to acquire it quickly.
In many cases, this entails browsing the Internet in a
public place, such as a store, before making a purchase.
Despite the convenience of free public Wi-Fi, there are
few security safeguards in place to protect against
          hackers.
Your Working Environments: Your company most
likely has policies in place that require Internet security
measures. Too many employees take shortcuts, use
weak passwords, and use company equipment for
personal gain. Proper security protocol is critical in the
workplace, regardless of how you use the Internet (or
what you use it for). It’s possible that you’re the backdoor
          through which an intruder enters.

Your Personal Networks: Even if you have a password-
protected network at home, you should not relax your
security measures. Scammers target people who use
computers or mobile phones to access the Internet. It is
critical to practice good security habits in order to avoid
          becoming a victim.

Whenever You Go Online (regardless of where you are):
Public Wi-Fi or high-security networks are both affected
by your actions and can make your personal information
unsafe if you are not careful. The best way to keep your
personal information safe on any network or device is to
          practice good cybersecurity habits.
