          WHAT KINDS OF SOCIAL MEDIA DATA DO
          SOCIAL PLATFORMS COLLECT?


          The various types of data collected about social media
          platform users can be roughly classified into five distinct
          categories. These are the following categories: behavioral
          data, engagement data, personal data, attitude data, and
          preference data.



          DATA FROM BEHAVIORAL SOCIAL MEDIA


          The advertiser must decide whether the desired action is
          for the user to make a purchase, or visit the advertiser’s
          website, or share information on product via a website,
          or a  social  media  post.  Behavioral  social  media  data
          looks for patterns that users frequently engage in while
          on their  way to completing an action that  advertisers
          desire.

          The  following  are  some  examples  of social  media
          behavioral data points:

                 ● Social Media  Transactional  Data:  This  includes
                 subscriptions,  purchases,  previous purchases,
                 cart  abandonment  data,  average  customer
                 lifetime  value, details  about customer  loyalty
                 programs, and so on.
                 ● The Social Media Usage: actions that are repeated,

                 task  completion, feature  utilization,  feature
                 duration, various types of devices, and so on.
