          PERSONAL SOCIAL MEDIA DATA

The term “personal social media data” refers to
information about a person’s identity that, if compromised,
could disclose that person’s identity. Many of these data
points are restricted from marketers in order to protect
the user’s identity and safety. Marketers, on the other
hand, have access to data points that are less likely to
reveal sensitive information, such as a user’s birthday,
          gender, and age.

Here are a few examples of personal data found on
          social media:

                 ● Location: a country, state, city, or specific location,

                 physical address
                 ● Email address
                 ● Phone number
                 ● Usernames and/or passwords required for
                 logging in
                 ● Driver’s license number

                 ● Social security number
                 ● Passport number
