RADICAL LOVE
suddenly realized how so many of us harbour such negative thoughts,
feelings, and attitudes that are contrary to this. It is time to change how
and what we think and dwell upon. We need to look beyond what is
going on in the earthly realm and focus our gaze and ears upon seeing
and hearing from a third heaven perspective. Negative people disrupt
godly atmospheres and adversely affect those around them. I’m sure
you have experienced this for yourselves.
‘On the other hand,’ she wrote, ‘what great creative power we could
manifest in Christ if, in everything, we gave Him true and fervent praise
and thanksgiving:’
“Render unto the King free, joyful, radiant praise,” she wrote. “Let it
be varied and not monotonous as His works are varied; glorious as His
power is glorious; colourful as His creation is colourful; rich, new,
fluent, and eloquent.
Sing it, speak it, draw it, shout it, act it out, breathe it, think it, play it,
live it, express it!
He is worthy of our highest praise.”
In these days of ever-increasing darkness, it is the high praises of our
God that will keep us hopeful, faithful, and joyful—because praise and
worship bring connection.
The Scriptures say that the Lord inhabits the praises of His people
(Psalm 22:3). So let us choose to be more intentional and bring to the
One who is worthy our enthusiastic, heartfelt praise and worship.
