RADICAL LOVE

Had familiarity possibly clouded the view she once had of Him? Not

          anymore!

This is why it is so important that we take the time to consider and

magnify the greatness and loveliness of the character of our God. It
safeguards us from apathy and complacency—and rekindles the fires

          of passion for Him.

When we turn our eyes upon Jesus and look full in His wonderful face,
the other “beloveds” in our lives will grow strangely dim in the light of

          His glory and grace.

In verse 11: “The way He leads me is divine. His leadership—so pure

          and dignified...”

Isaiah 55:8–9 (NIV) says: “For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord.

“As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than
your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”

This is what is meant by being divine—He does not lead us the way
earthly leaders lead, with worldly wisdom. To access this divine

leadership style, we must ascend into the Spirit and listen to what the

Spirit is saying. (See Revelation 1:10-11 (NIV): “On the Lord’s day I
was in the Spirit, and I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet,

          which said…”)
