THE LIFE OF A TEENAGE GIRL
“Are you sure it’s not another bribe you pulled on poor, innocent
people to get money for a ticket?” I asked, curious.
She answered with an annoyed face, “Uh, no? I promise it’s a real
ticket.”
“But honey, you know we won’t have time to take you to
Wonderland. It’s way too far, and we have to deal with another problem
from your sister,” Mom said.
“Another? Why is it always Dahlia? When is it my time for you
guys to care about me?!” Olivia shouted, then stormed off upstairs.
I felt really bad. I mean, she was right—it’s always been me that
Mom and Dad cared about the most. Not even care… worry. And she
finally did something good to get that ticket, but again, they said no.
Then I also stormed off upstairs before Mom or Dad could say
anything.
