THE LIFE OF A TEENAGE GIRL

“Wait—so if I’m getting weaker and continuously heating up,
doesn’t that mean I’ll also be fainting due to loss of strength?!” I asked,

          scared.

“Well, not really. But it’s possible—”
“Then how can she focus on schoolwork? She’s going to be

worried about it all the time!” Mom said.
“That might be a problem we can’t really solve…” Dr. Donnach

          said.
“Are you kidding me? Mom, how can I pass in school now? I’ll

probably be the dumbest kid there!” I got up and shouted.

“Honey, it’s okay, everything will be fine,” Mom said, trying to
          calm me down.

But I still couldn’t believe this. I was so happy that my health

was getting better, and I was finally about to go to school. And now
          this? What could get worse?
