               “Well… their moms did.”
               “Oh.  Well,  I’m  your  mother,  and  I  care  for  you.  Even  though

          sometimes you can be so stubborn, I still love you.” She kissed my

          forehead.
               “I love you too.” I was glad my mom could forgive me now.

               I continued, “So… is everything okay now?”
               “Uh, no. You still have another person waiting for an apology.”

               I thought it was Dad or maybe the principal—but then I realized it
