One evening, on my way home from work, I stopped at
a car dealership—just to take a look. A sales
representative approached and asked, “Which one do
you like?”
“I like them all,” I replied.
“Choose one,” he said, "Come inside, and we’ll talk
about it."
I laughed and said, “Okay.”
I don’t remember much about our conversation, but I
told him about my husband’s poor credit and how I
assumed that meant I couldn’t finance anything either.
He chuckled and said, “Your husband has bad credit, not
you.”
That moment changed everything. I gave him my
information, and he told me to leave it with him—he
would be in touch.
A New Opportunity
Two days later, he called back with unexpected advice:
Instead of buying a used car, he suggested I lease a
