to allow the Holy Spirit to do His work of preparing His warrior Bride.

That time is now. These are the days in which to buy more oil if we are
to last the course and be total overcomers. We cannot afford to be like

the five foolish virgins in Matthew 25. Everything we need comes from
Jesus Himself, who is the Bread of Life.

This oil will keep us from coming under the ever-increasing dark

spiritual atmosphere that is seeking to encroach upon God’s people. We
need the oil of joy—the oil of heartfelt praise and worship—to

counteract the negative spiritual atmospheres around us.

I will never forget being at a gathering with the underground church

from China and Iran. A pastor was speaking to us about the ministry he

was involved in Afghanistan. He said that before they could venture
outside, they had to spend a substantial amount of time praising God in

order to stay above the heavy oppression of the spirit of extreme Islam.

We need to be aware of, and heed, what is going on around us in the

spirit realm—especially in this hour. So let us use our time

circumspectly in these days and feast on Him while there is still time.

The Shulamite has been set aside yet again to fellowship with the Lord

and becomes more aware than ever that it is only as she leans on Jesus
that she receives all she needs to walk out her faith. The same is true

for us.

Recently, I was reading Luke 10:42, where Jesus said to Martha that

only one thing is needed, and it was to sit at His feet. He also said that
