Aerial Appliance Operator Lesson Plan

• Students to manipulate the Aerial controls to follow a horizontal line
along building/station parapet.

• Students practise aerial operations with a second person operating
from the head and controlling the monitor and swap around.
NOTE
• Students to communicate commands from the aerial head to the
controller and vice versa.

All evolutions should start with engaging PTO setting jacks, and Once satisfied with the
operating aerial smoothly and with minimum number of moves. student’s competence with
the above tasks, the student
may progress to more
advanced training off station.
