is gained prior to operating
Select a building and have the students complete the following:
Aerial in private car parks
and locations, or up
• site the aerial for a given objective.

• set up aerial for operations using manual and automatic systems if
required
• reach all objectives with the minimum of movements.
– Objective example: Set Aerial up to reach 5th floor window for
rescues or set up appliance for firefighting purposes. i.e., on the
corner to reach two faces of the building.
