The factors leading to school violence in the Hoora and Kusefa
educational districts from the teachers’ point of view

Abstract:
The current research aims to study the factors leading to school violence
from the teachers’ point of view. The study sample amounted to 212 male
and female teachers (47%) of the study population, which consisted of 448
middle school teachers in the Hora and Kusifa educational regions. The
study sample was chosen by the stratified random method, and the
descriptive approach. The SPSS program was used to analyze the data. The
researcher used the questionnaire tool, which in its final form consisted of
(40) paragraphs. The psychometric characteristics were achieved by the
scale, such as apparent honesty with an agreement percentage of (73.3%),
and the reliability coefficient reached (93%). After processing the data
statistically, the researcher reached results indicating that the factors those
related to society and the media are the most prominent causes of school
violence to a very high degree, followed by factors related to family
upbringing, the student himself, and finally, related to the school
environment. In addition, it indicates the presence of statistically significant
differences according to the variable years of experience (5-10) years at the
