“I understand my Grandmother spoiled your plans by wrecking
your car.” She made a sad face.

"She said she would replace it with any car we wanted. Is this

true?"

"Yes." She replied. "Do you know what you want?"

"Yes." Steve tried to sound cool. "A Saleen S7 Twin Turbo in
candy-apple red with white details including a stripe down the
middle on the sides. Can we have New England Audio Research

speakers for the stereo?"

"Sure Spoken like a true American Patriot. That is the fastest
American-made car. Looks like you will make out pretty good
on this accident, no?" She gets out her cellphone and sends a
text, smiles broadly, and moves closer to Steve.
