"Stay here and I will be right back for you."


Mrs. Jenkins then grabbed Linda by the arm and led her and
Trash out of the room. Steve saw the servants close the huge

double doors as they turned left down the hall.


"The next bedroom can be yours, my dear." she said to Linda,
obviously not as fond of her as she was of Steve.


More servants quickly threw open the doors to a room even
larger than the last with an entire wall devoted to windows.


Linda thanked Mrs. Jenkins profusely and stated she was very

tired and needed a nap, while looking at Trash with a
mischievously demanding eye. He chuckled and said he also
was ready for a nap. Mrs. Jenkins told the sleepyheads that if
they needed anything there was a button on the nightstand
that would ring the staff and pushed it. There was no sound. A
moment later three men in servant uniforms came jogging into
the room.



“Take advantage of them.” She said. “They’re bored, with all of
them and only me to look after.”


Mrs. Jenkins promptly turned and marched quickly out of the
room with the present staff members following behind just as
quickly. The doors closed silently. She walked at that pace all
the way to Steve's bedside, with the servants opening and
