comfortable and once she felt she had done all she could, she
excused herself and left Steve alone with Janine. Immediately
all of the staff that had been tending bar and serving snacks
disappeared into the woodwork. Steve was completely alone

with the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. He,
however, did not have any compunction to run to the
bathroom and lock himself in. He was definitely nervous,
though.


On a nearby mountain in a lookout tower was a man with a
half-million dollar telescope and laser listening device watching
Steve sweat through a large picture window. He had parked his
Karmann Ghia an half hour before and climbed up just to

witness this. “Lucky, lucky, lucky dead bastard.” He said.


“What brought you to Newark?” Janine said sweetly and batted
her eyes a bit.


“Just passing through on our way south.” Steve said with
entirely too much drama.



“Oh? On your way where?”


“To see the sights in D.C.”


“Which sights?”
