Gnurdleigh was a quiet, chubby kid with a round face and curly
brown hair who looked years younger than he really was. He
dressed in second-hand baggy clothes that made him look
fatter than he really was. He did this because he valued
comfort, yet, had no value for 'style'. He was a daydreamer
who seemed disinterested in the day to day activities of the

“real world”, preferring to imagine far-off places and huge
adventures where instead of being a nobody, he would be a
somebody. His eyes always had the look of someone who was
somewhere else because part of him was somewhere else. This
made him very unpopular with the typical working-class
individuals who tended to stay at such a community. Those
who were advanced enough to have compassion for him would
end up moving to a better community. He claimed to like beer,
