tiny particles happened to comprise the entire universe, so at
the time they were, in a subjective sense, mighty large. Before
anyone could notice, which is completely meaningless since
there was nobody to notice, they recombined. The process of

recombining disturbed the void again, so before they were
even done recombining another rip happened, creating two
more happening pairs. When they eventually recombined it
gave rise to four more happening pairs. In comparison to the
universe we know, it was small and unnoticeable. Compared to
the void, that tiny universe was a very happening place. The
four pairs became eight. The eight pairs became sixteen, and
so on.



Before, well… there was no before. The void was devoid of
time. So, when the first split happened it was the beginning of
time. Nothing could have preceded it and nothing did precede
it. Gnurdleigh, without any knowledge of it, created everything,
all in the name of a good pint of beer. Ironically, his actions
created the best beer in the universe, though he never tasted
it.



Gnurdleigh was a ne’er-do-well in a small community of six-
trillion working to middle-class people on a tiny planet in the
Blueballs Galaxy, so known for its slash binary stars, although
its sanctimonious and prudish ways would also fit the name. It
was a middle sized planet with a reddish atmosphere, but
overall one of the cleaner planets in the galaxy. It had only
been colonized one-hundred-thousand years earlier by religious
