the psychics would laugh at them. These scientists saw an
opportunity to cash in on this phenomenon. They invented a
device made of plastic which transmits your thoughts to
anyone who was sprayed with the proper chemicals to “tune”

to the frequency of a particular device. Many lawsuits claimed
the device was fraudulent. This was neither exactly true nor
exactly false.

What the XTC ended up doing was to communicate from the
subconscious, which is much more powerful than the conscious
mind. People back home would ‘hear’ from their loved ones
traveling the cosmos, however, they would get only images
from the subconscious. Things like; “That woman next door

sure has a nice ass. If my wife dies I am so going to do her.”
The company claimed this was proof the device worked, which
it did and the purchasers would claim it did not give them any
worthwhile information, which it didn’t. The purchasers claimed
the advertisement promised useful information. The company
claimed that knowing a husband fantasized about his neighbor
was useful information to both the wife and the neighbor. It

all became moot when the trials erupted into massive orgies.

The thing about the XTC was that it communicated people’s
daydreams, wishes, goals, and fantasies. The further away
they were the more deeply hidden the dreams and fantasies it
would communicate. For the most part it just gave
embarrassing daydreams. Gnurdleigh, however, had
programmed his spaceship randomly; figuring that his best
