“Why now?” he said, as if he didn’t know.
“It’s in the stars, fool.”
This call is the kind of thing that should be proof of the
existence of God. How is it that a collection of misfits,
somewhat like Gnurdleigh, conflagrate in the exact right place
at the exact right time to create effects that control the fate of
a world and the enlightenment of the universe? Logical
systems cannot comprehend such events. Great men, righteous
men and scholars all spend their lives attempting to make their
positive mark on the universe and even the greatest of their
achievements does not rate a footnote compared to the scope
of universal good caused by the actions of these seemingly
innocuous nerds.
The Drunk Monks say;
The greatness of God is not shown by the effects upon
the universe by the people whose successes are logical,
planned, executed intentionally and expected. Building
greatness brick by brick from the bottom up is a waste
of time. Hell, anybody could do that! But, to direct the
course of the entire universe, to destroy it, ruin its
infrastructure for eons, create it, then to save it and
