would choose ignorance and twist the intellect into a coward, a
cunning liar complicit in their petty indulgences. According to
the Drunk Monks, this was the very formula God invented so
we could all forget enlightenment. It was his great gift to us. It

was also the best practical joke ever. God has been laughing
ever since.

In the sacred Bible: BeerQuest, it is stated thusly:

If over the sweeping millennia
the most industrious of the
self-absorbed losers create
enough stupidity to pile it

layer upon layer upon layer
until it is so highly piled
it reaches the very gates of
Heaven itself, perhaps then
one loser will stumble, all
lost and delirious, across the
golden thresh hold and then,

amidst the chorus of Angel
laughter, glance back at what
he gave up to have the chance
to create that huge putrid pile
just to return to where he
was already welcome before.
