There was a long pause while the woman pondered how to
interpret this. Was Trash stalking her? Did he want to go where
she was going so he could know her hereabouts? She looked at
him. His face seemed sincere and honest enough.
"I am going to the Catholic Rectory building. You must be
going somewhere." she said. "Yes. I am going somewhere; I
just don't know where it is yet. So, it is best if I just randomly
go wherever this car is stopping and wait for a sign about
where to go next." The woman was frightened now. Was this a
crazy man? Trash told her he had a dream he was going to
meet a friend, but he didn't dream where. She gathered all of
her wits about her and managed not to panic. Begrudgingly,
she drove to the Catholic Rectory and Trash got out of the car.
She started to wish him a good day when she saw him running
into the street and gasped as he threw his backpack at a
passing car. It turned out that the first car that passed their
location once they stopped belonged to one Steve Heinz. Steve
had seen Trash getting out of her vehicle and was quickly
turning streets to make it look like he hadn't seen, just to get a
reaction from Trash. He heard a thud as the backpack hit his
car. Trash turned and spoke to the woman who had given him
a ride while he retrieved his backpack from the middle of the
road.
"This is the guy I came into town to meet. See why I asked
you to bring me wherever you were going? I let God take care
of things. Thank you for the ride. Have a nice day"
