Buttermilk Pound Cake

Ingredients:
3 cups sugar
3 cups flour
4 eggs
2 sticks margarine or butter
½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup buttermilk
Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs and vanilla. Add
dry ingredients and buttermilk. Beat 5 minutes.
Bake in greased Bundt pan at 350°F for 1 hour or
until toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Cashew Crunch

Ingredients:
1 stick butter
½ cup sugar
1 Tbsp Karo syrup
1 - 2 cups cashew pieces
Cook all ingredients in skillet on medium heat for 8-
10 minutes. Cook until butterscotch color or peanut
butter color. Pour onto a cookie sheet lined with
wax paper. When cool break up and eat.
