Gingerbread

                                    Ingredients:

                                    1 cup syrup
                                    1 cup sugar
                                    1 cup buttermilk
                                    ½ cup shortening
                                    2 eggs
                                    3 cups flour
                                    2 tsp baking soda
                                    2 tsp ginger
                                    2 tsp cinnamon
                                    nutmeg, allspice, cloves to taste

                                    Mix all together and bake until done.
