               disinfectant that, is applied through a misting machine used by the custodial staff.
               Information Technology


               Due to these unprecedented times, the district continues to issue devices to support our families and
               the Remote Learning process. The number of devices is listed below:
               1,463 Cell phones (Sprint 1 Million) cell phones with hotspot capabilities

               813 Chromebooks of these 69 devices have been issued to seniors

               The technology department will continue to support our students with their technology needs during
               the Remote Learning days.

               Students may contract the technology department by emailing technology@rich227.org or by
               leaving a message at (708) 679-5704. The call will be returned within 24 hours.

               Various virtual meetings continue to be conducted, including master schedule, campus
               consolidation, and online registration.

               Food Service

               The Rich Township School District 227 will serve five days of meals every Monday in May at Rich
               East only from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm. In observance of Memorial Day, there will be no food
               service on Monday, May 25, 2020.

               Business Office

               The 2020-2021 requisitions are open for processing in the purchasing and payables module of
               Infinite Visions. The secretaries at the schools may now enter requisitions for the next school year.
               Now, we are working on closing the current year. Therefore, in this module, we are simultaneously
               working in two fiscal years. The other modules have not been opened for the 2020-2021 fiscal year.

               During the month of April 2020, the district collected $916,441.43 in property tax revenue.
               The Illinois Teacher Retirement System (TRS) announced the federal rate for FY21. The rate is
               10.41%. The rate is a decrease when compared to the federal rate of 10.66% from last year.

               As of May 7, 2020, the vouchers awaiting processing by the controller totals $803,504.16 for FY20.
               It is expected that these payments will be received by June 30, 2020.
