Evanston Township High School District 202 has a similar course model- Team-Taught Reading,
English and Social Studies course.
1 The cut score will be determined after reviewing placement scores at the campus level. Placement
scores will consist of NWEA scores and PSAT 8/9 scores.
2 These students may still need to be scheduled in an academic lab as an additional intervention
layer.

Integrated Math Pilot
Proposal
1. Integrated mathematics is the term used in the United States to describe the style of
mathematics education which integrates many topics or strands of mathematics throughout
each year of secondary school.
2. Our pilot will specifically target students who would have been enrolled in Math
Foundations. They will take Algebra and over the course of their freshman and sophomore
year. Pre-Algebra skills would be covered the first semester and Geometry would still be
introduced sophomore year. This is a one period class.
