Statement of Economic Interest –Reminder

State law requires Cook County elected officials, appointed officials, and certain local and county
government employees to file a Statement of Economic Interest with the Clerk's office each year.
A reminder email will be sent to the individuals that must complete the form.
Late fee: Individuals who file after the deadline must pay a $15 late fee per year for each year
they are required to file and past due.

Grants

The Illinois State Board of Education released a fiscal year 2020 Notice of Funding Opportunity
(NOFO)/Request for Proposal (RFP) in October 2019 for the FY20 National School Lunch
Program Equipment Assistance Grant. The funding opportunity provided for $1,308,856 in
funding for ISBE to award grants to eligible School Food Authorities. ISBE received 173 eligible
applications from NSLP sponsors with budget requests totaling nearly $6.6 million. Forty-six
sponsors, which includes 61 sites, are allocated funding under this grant. All awards are tentative
until the Merit Based Review Process is complete.

Rich Township High School District 227 is one of the 46 sponsors that received a tentative award.
The award amount is unknown at this time, but we will receive notice soon. The maximum grant
amount is $50,000.
