▪ Could we say that Christians have to pray for one another?
Why is it important?
▪ What other examples do we see in Scripture of the things
we could pray for others?
▪ Could someone hurt us so badly that we never want to pray
for such a person?
▪ Some people say I have not voted for this government, I will
not pray for them. Discuss.
▪ What must be the purpose of our prayers for the
government? (BC Art.36)
Application
a. Do you pray for your pastor and leaders in the church? Why is
this important?
b. Do you pray for the people who are part of this church, as
well as other believers in other churches?
c. How real do you think is the attack of Satan on God’s people?
d. Do you earnestly pray for the people on our prayer list?
e. Could I still be jealous or hateful towards someone when I
truly and uprightly pray for such a person?
f. What does this tell us about harmed and broken
relationships?
