On Site Procedures

All persons must report to the site manager upon arrival to site. A phone call to the CTS Site Manager by your nominated Site Supervisor/Key
Person prior entering site would be recommended. This will allow Site Manager to organise and arrange space for any inductions / discussions

  required.

The following basic site requirements will be adopted on site:-
  • Everyone must allow plenty of space (2 metres) between people waiting to enter site, site offices, welfare facilities etc.
  • Everyone must complete the COVID-19 Safe To Work form prior to starting works on site.
  • Everyone arriving to site must wash their hands immediately and also prior to leaving site.

  • Everyone must wash hands regularly with soap and hot water when you’re entering any building entrances and prior to eating or drinking.

       (modified to suit the site).
  • Everyone still needs to be inducted however this should be done maintaining the 2 metre rule.
  • Signing in & out will be completed by one of the CTS Site Management Team. All operatives must be made aware they should report to the

CTS Site Manger or nominated person to sign them in and out on a daily basis.
  • The sharing of and equipment, ladders, plant etc will not be permitted unless it evidence can be provided it is being wiped down after use –

gloves are not an adequate option as the gloves maybe contaminated. All operatives to carry their own stationery etc.
  • Cleaning procedures – cleaning of canteens/door handles toilets i.e. anything used regularly will be carried out at more regular intervals than
what we usually would do. All persons must clean up after themselves too.
  • Drivers should remain in their vehicles if the load will allow it and must wash or clean their hands before unloading goods and materials.

  • Canteen / break arrangements – staggered breaks will be in place where required. A rota or booking system maybe be in place on site. Where

possible or required seats will be removed or marked do not use to remove the ability to disregard the 2-metre rule in this area.

Please note Everyone should to bring their own cutlery, cups and premade food to site. Preventing cross contamination and the requirement

to leave site to buy food minimising potential exposure.
