If someone falls ill on site

If a person on site develops the Coronavirus symptoms the Site Management Team will follow the following actions :-

1. While maintaining 2m from the person, ask them to leave site and return home immediately.

2. Ask them to try and avoid touching anything as they leave site and remind them to cough into a tissue or the crook of their elbow.

3. Supervise the person to ensure that they leave site immediately and safely. If the are not fit to leave site safely on their own then you

must isolate them on site until arrangements have been made to get them home safely.

4. If they have had to use welfare facilities to change or collect belongings, wearing disposable gloves wipe down the surfaces they may have
touched such as door handles, locker door, etc. using disposable cloths and cleaning spray.

5. Double bag any cloths, along with any disposable PPE the person may have been wearing on site, and the gloves you have worn to
conduct these actions.

6. Report the incident to your Project Manager and the H & S team immediately.

The person involved must follow the guidance on self-isolation and not return to work until their period of self-isolation has been completed.

As stated previously, All contractors must have arrangements in place should someone taken ill to allow them to safely travel home.
