                Dynamic Analysis of Front Bumper


                Beam Under Impact Loading

                Abstract This research focusing on the study of analysis bumper beam design under impact
                loading. There are 3 objectives that will achieve that are design 3 type of the bumper beam ,
                analyze  the  different  type  of  bumper  beam  design  based  on  one  material  selection  that  is
                aluminium honeycomb core sandwich panels and identify which design are suitable with the
                material selection based on their result from Finite Element Analysis by referring to the von
                mises stress and deformation value. The design of bumper beam is design using Solidwork
                software and finite element analysis simulate using Abaqus software. The analysis for total
                deformation use five different values of force applied (kN) while the von mises stress use 30kN
                force only. After finish to analyze the data from result of total deformation and equivalent von
                mises stress, the best design of bumper beam will be specified.
