                Abstract  Design  &  analysis  automotive  component:  comparison  design  of  sun  visor  back
                cover for case study. The main objective of this project is to design and analysis automotive
                mechanical plastic component using CAD or others software. Second objective is to study
                critical parameters and mechanical properties in the molding window analysis. This project
                presents the comparison design of the sun visor back cover. The sun visor back cover is a
                component or part with a geometry which is the interior of automobile. The material selection
                for various component developed for the sun visor back cover is plastic. The analysis for testing
                the mechanical properties like tensile strength, the toughness and modulus of elastic for the key
                component has been carried out in SolidWork software. The results for various iterations and
                the final designed component have been discussed in detail in this thesis work.
