Abstract This research focuses on The Dynamic Analysis of Car Chassis Under Impact
Loading. This study aims to conduct dynamic analysis on chassis cars under impact load and
conduct analysis to the accidental condition of a front and side collision. The type of chassis
car is unibody chassis also known as non-conventional chassis. The material used for this
analysis is AISI 1050 Carbon Steel, AISI 1020 Carbon Steel, Low Carbon Mild Steel,
Aluminium Alloy 6000 Series, AISI 4130 Steel Alloy. The chassis analysis is carried out in
Solidwork Design software and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) is ordered to analyze and
collect the data of total deformation. Which one of these material are less in deformation when
force is applied. The total applied force in accidental condition for front and side collision is
30000 Newton. Meanwhile, for the load to analysis the chassis car under impact load of
passenger is 700 Newton. From the result of analysis and discussion, the less bending and
deformation of chassis when force applied is AISI 1050 Carbon Steel. This material much
better compared others material due of material properties of young’s modulus and poisson’s
                ratio.
