                Design and Development of Chassis


                Structure for Outdoor Electric Scooter

                Abstract This thesis is a project on designing new electric scooters and analysis of electric
                scooter  chassis.  In  this  project,  students  were  given  part  by  part  to  design  the  scooter
                components.  One  of  the  components  of  an  electric  scooter  is  an  electric  chassis  scooter.
                Therefore,  the  design  of  electric  chassis  scooters  must  be  stronger  and  lighter  for  chassis
                design. In this particular study, different designs have been assessed to see damage starting
                from the basic model. The materials used in the current design should also be lighter to improve
                performance  for  the  chassis  efficiency  itself.  This  project  deals  with  the  design  and
                improvement of materials for the chassis. Then, pressure and deformation of chassis can be
                achieved  with  SolidWorks  Simulation  software  from  the  Finite  Element  Analysis.  Using
                SOLIDWORKS software, the design is designed.
