Abstract In recent years, the research on aerodynamic of the vehicle has been performed.
However, the study just focuses on the aerodynamics of the vehicle. In this works, the study
about CFD analysis of cabin airflow inside a moving vehicle. These projects require
observation of the airflow pattern that passes through inside the vehicle during open condition
windows. The analysis of these projects was conducted using SolidWorks software that
requires the flow simulation process and computational fluid dynamics. Moreover, these
projects require the design of the vehicle that is in open condition windows. The objectives of
these projects are to investigate the effect of air velocity pass through entire the vehicle while
opening the windows, to determine the pattern of airflow inside the vehicle by using 100 km/h
of velocity parameter, and to determine the effect of the airflow inside a car on the drag
coefficient and passenger’s comfort. The limitation during these simulations is that the airflow
simulation process just occurs depending on the setup of the air velocity in the parameter and
not the movement speed of the vehicle. According to the simulation process, the airflow pattern
inside the vehicle using 100 km/h of velocity is a turbulent condition. The result also makes
uncomfortable conditions for the passenger comfort because of 23.525 km/h to 35.287 km/h
turbulent velocity that hit the passenger body. Increasing the velocity will create higher
turbulently flow inside the cabin vehicle and become a more uncomfortable condition for the
                passenger.
