Abstract This report is an outcome of the final year project which the title is Analysis of
vehicle cabin's ventilation and heat removal system for PESONA Car. This project is aimed
primarily at evaluating the rise in temperature in the cabin under direct sunlight. Secondly, a
study of the temperature rise in the cabin is performed under three separate conditions in a
completely closed cabin with a blower on and heat removal systems connected to the windows
of the vehicle. Data collection was conducted using experimental methods for this project. The
car is parked under the sun and data are collected five hours manipulated situation.
Thermocouple display, ventilation fan and k-type thermocouple are the key devices used in
this project. The insides of the car cabin, which is reacted as a temperature sensor, are four
thermocouple points. The test results indicate that the inside of the car cabin temperature will
easily increase to a degree not suited for people to join. The first cabin experiment has a
maximum temperature, respectively. The maximum temperature for the second experiment of
the closed cabin. For this last experiment, which is to extract heat connected to a window. The
result also shows that the heat remover devices are connected can decrease the maximum cabin
temperature.
