Abstract In today's automotive business, the issue of driver safety is critical. During severe
rain, accidents are caused by a lack of sufficient visibility, as well as physical errors such as
the driver failing to increase the wiper speed. This idea is for a rain-sensing wiper system that
detects rain and automatically starts and stops when the rain ends. When raindrops hit the
raindrop sensor, the sensor determines the strength, and the wiper speed is adjusted
automatically based on the amount of rain. The faster the rotational speed, the more rain will
fall. A raindrop sensor, an LCD 16x2 module, and a micro servo motor are used with an
Arduino Mega 2560. The moisture is monitored by analogue output pins in the rain sensor, and
when a moisture threshold is surpassed, the wiper begins to rotate. The rain sensor's signal is
relayed to the Arduino. Arduino processes and evaluates the data collected from the rain sensor
before using it to control the servo motor. A 16x2 LCD panel located near the driver's seat
provides information on the intensity of the rain and the wiper speed. Outside the car, the rain
sensor is tested at the top centre, top right, and top left of the windshield. The servo motor is
attached to the rain sensor. The servo motor is attached to the wiper blades. The Arduino, which
is powered by the car's power source, is connected to all of the electronics.
