Abstract Collisions in automobiles have become a major safety concern for many years. Lots
of damage and death cases due to automobile collisions are frequently reported. In most cases,
drivers fail to notice the presence of obstacles ahead. The main purpose of this project is to
build a model-based Arduino version of collision avoidance system to alert the distance to the
driver to decrease chance of collision. Data from ultrasonic distance sensor which were then
processed to get the results of option. Other than distance, Arduino PWM signal duty cycle
which control the speed of motor and speed sensor is used to determine the speed. When
distance is 50cm and above the speed motor maintain in 4808 to 4375 rpm while under 50cm
the speed will decrease from 4999 to 3307 rpm and an LED will start blinking. The speed will
decrease from 1936 to 525 rpm and an LED will light on and buzzer will on for distance below
20cm. Controlling the system with ultrasonic sensors, speed sensors, and controllers for the
purpose of handling and navigating the car is the solution to these problems. When another
vehicle approaches, there is a substantial drop in speed, indicating that the system is operational
and controlling the car's speed under conditions.
