CREATE A FUNDRAISING

                               CALENDAR

When it comes to nonprofit fundraising, the organization is your best
friend! Set up a calendar with important dates for the year. Include
important holidays and any associated campaigns or appeals, events that

you’ve scheduled, and funder deadlines like proposal due dates and when
decisions will be made. Include timelines for sending grant reports and

             donor thank-you’s, as well.

As you become more comfortable with fundraising, you can start adding in
any “themes” for your year, as well, and work them into a communications
calendar. Do you work in or around the education space, for example?

Don’t forget your back-to-school content! After all, you’re already a website
and social media superstar – don’t miss opportunities to utilize these tools.

Use a tool like Google Calendar, where you can set up notifications to

remind you when actionable items are near.
