The world of charitable giving – or philanthropy – is subject to trends, the
same as anything else. So do your research. Are there new tax laws
impacting private donors? What are the trends for institutional funders in
your topic area?
A general sense for these things can help you think through the
presentation of your program and activities. You might find that there are
multiple ways to fit your organization’s programs into their funding
framework.
