These levels provide a structured pathway for participants to embark on their personal
development journey, setting goals and achieving milestones. Each level represents a higher
commitment and engagement, encouraging participants to grow and challenge themselves
further. By participating in the NYAA Programme, young individuals can unlock their potential,
foster leadership skills, and contribute meaningfully to society.
The NYAA Programme comprises three essential components that all participants must complete:
Service Learning (Touching Lives, Making a Difference)
This component acknowledges the development of socially responsible young individuals who
comprehend community issues and actively seek solutions. Participants can engage in a Values-
In-Action or any community service project aligned with their interests.
Objective:
To learn the significance of voluntary service and provide helpful assistance to others in the
community.

Gold: At least 60 hours of regular activities spread over a minimum period of 12 months.
Outdoor Appreciation (To be at Ease with Nature)
Outdoor learning fosters confidence-building in unfamiliar environments outside the classroom.
It develops problem-solving skills, enhances teamwork, nurtures an understanding of the natural
environment, and instils a sense of environmental stewardship.

To develop a sense of ease with nature and foster environmental stewardship.

of destructive behaviours like tobacco, drugs, and alcohol, which negatively impact physical and
emotional health.

Silver Level: At least 32 hours of regular activities spread over twelve months.
