Recognition And Renewal of Council Members
The Council recognises the contributions of members who have faithfully served for over ten
years. While acknowledging the need for renewal, we approach this process cautiously to maintain
the organisation's stability. We continuously seek new, young individuals who have achieved the
Gold Award to serve as Council Members, as they deeply understand our organisation's values and
ethos.
Among those who have served for over ten years are two full-time staff members and key Council
members, two individuals from the minority groups. These members bring valuable resources and
networks that are challenging to replace. The members are:
• Mr Viswa Sadasivan – From a minority group (Indian), Provides expert advice on
communications, strategies, public relations, and links to SINDA.
• Mr Izzuddin Taherally is from a minority group (Malay). Former President of the Malay Youth
Literary Association (4 PM). Provides expert advice on minority groups and how to work with
the Malay community.
