Additionally, bridging the digital divide for older people becomes imperative as society transitions
into the digital age. To this end, the NYAA Gold Award Holders' Alumni and participants are
encouraged to develop active ageing programmes that support senior individuals, enabling them
to remain socially active and connected to society during their twilight years. Through these
community bonding projects and activities, we can foster care, compassion, and understanding
among the youth, enhancing the quality of life for older people.

                   REVIEW OF FINANCIAL STATUS

The National Youth Achievement Award Association recorded a deficit of S$137,957.00 in 2023.
(Please see Appendix 7 for a summary of financial performance.)

For 2023, the Association received four donations, amounting to S$790,097. Many corporations
and businesses are still recovering from the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic and global issues
such as wars. We did not embark on any fundraising event. (Please see Appendix 9 for a list of
                   donors).

                   statement.)

                   Fundraising Activity

In 2023, the Association did not organise specific fundraising events due to the adverse impact of
the COVID-19 pandemic and global war challenges on corporate and business sectors. We are
grateful for the continued support of The Tote Board and HSBC Singapore, for their generous
                   support.

While specific fundraising events were not conducted in 2023, the Association remained
committed to exploring alternative avenues for securing the necessary resources to fulfil our
mission. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all corporations, foundations, and donors who
generously contributed to the NYAA, enabling us to continue empowering young people and
                   fostering their personal development.
