Asian Development Bank’s Asia & The Pacific Youth Symposium
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has been a
strategic partner of the NYAA for many years. In
August 2021, one of ADB’s signature events, Asia
and the Pacific Youth Symposium, was held from 12
August to 18 September 2021. The month-long virtual
platform for social dialogue provided governments,
young leaders from the Asia Pacific region and other
stakeholders to discuss primary and emerging issues
related to youth economic empowerment and the
‘new normal’ impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Dr Mustafa Izuddin, a Senior International Affairs
Analyst at Solaris Strategies Singapore and Senior
Lecturer at the National University of Singapore
and an NYAA Gold Award holder (2002 Cohort),
represented NYAA Singapore as a Guest Speaker at
the symposium. Dr Mustafa’s contributions at the ADB
Asia Pacific Youth Symposium were well received, and
ADB thanked NYAA for its contribution.
